Emerson has an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler III at our Olive Branch, MS distribution center!As a MATERIAL HANDLER III (Powered Equipment Operator Reach Truck/Order Selector), this 1st Shift role will safely and efficiently handle materials throughout the warehouse stocking incoming items, performing replenishments, and picking orders using powered equipment such as reach trucks and pallet jacks. You'll play a key part in maintaining productivity and ensuring our operations run smoothly.In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Responsible for moving product within the warehouse by means of motorized equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, order selectors or reach lifts.Responsible to stock incoming items, to replenish flow racks, and pick orders with use of RF equipmentCreate cartons and labels prior to shippingMaintain productivity minimum standards with a sense of urgency.Adhere to all safety rules, policies and proceduresReplenish orders as necessary to support operation.Supply cardboard boxes and bags for departments.Maintain safe actions on and off the equipment in compliance with all safety rules/regulations required by Emerson, federal, state and local provisions.Meet department quality, attendance and productivity requirements.Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain clean work environment.Other duties as assigned.Who You Are: You are a dedicated team player with a passion for safety and quality. You are results driven, detail oriented, and committed to delivering excellence in everything you do.For this Role, You Will Need:High School diploma or GEDRequires prior forklift certification with 6 months previous warehouse experience.Previous shipping/receiving/material handling experience.Ability to operate forklift in a safe manner.Physical requirements:Able to lift parts weighing more than (50) fifty pounds (assistance when needed) and to work in bending, squatting, and standing positions for prolonged periods of time.Occasionally reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, banding, stretching, bending, and standing frequently.Must be able to work quickly meeting productivity and quality standards.Promote an environment where individual contribution (s) toward quality and cost improvements are maximized.Must pass forklift certifications and requirements to operate forklifts.Must pass a non-DOT physical examLegal authorized to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided.Ability to work overtime when necessary.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:Previous RF equipment to move product.Strong team work skills with a proven track record to collaborate in fast-paced warehouse environment.Hands on experience and ability cross-functional work in different areas.Our Culture & Commitment to YouAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
