Job Description

Join our dedicated team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), committed to providing exceptional care to patients with neuro and trauma needs. This unit features a total of 44 beds, supported by a team of 95 staff members, including 11 RNs on both day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuro and spinal checks for patient assessments.
• Perform C-Collar placement and apply TLSO braces as needed.
• Manage chest tubes, PCA pumps, and IV infusions.
• Assist with lumbar drain and feeding tube placement.
• Administer blood transfusions as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Experience in neuro and trauma care is essential
