Position Overview

We're searching for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging professionals devoted to delivering high-quality care. Using state-of-the-art ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic procedures, work alongside a supportive team, and bring reassurance to patients through timely and precise imaging.

Responsibilities

• Execute a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring providers to achieve high standards of diagnostic imaging
• Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Keep accurate documentation and manage patient files within the electronic medical records system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Required Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
