Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Wichita, KS, requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care Med/Surg or Ortho experience.

Details

• Work on a 34-bed Medical Surgical/Surgical Services unit
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Common procedures include total joint and spine surgeries
• Uses traction equipment
• Charts using the Meditech EMR
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Med/Surg/Ortho experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Familiarity with traction and spine, hip, and joint precautions preferred
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
