High School Science Teacher

Wallace-Rose Hill High School seeks a dedicated High School Science Teacher committed to helping all students learn, grow, and succeed. The ideal candidate will create engaging, hands-on learning experiences while maintaining high expectations and a positive classroom environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and deliver standards-aligned science instruction.
  • Use student data to guide instruction and support student growth.
  • Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment.
  • Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Participate in PLCs, collaborative planning, and school initiatives.
  • Support a positive school culture and high expectations for all students.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Science Education, or a related field.
  • Valid North Carolina teaching license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
  • Commitment to collaboration, professional growth, and student success.
