Commercial Lines Underwriter

The ideal candidate will have a track record of underwriting success and strong technical knowledge of middle market property and casualty products and services. Duties & Responsibilities Work closely with sales team to help write profitable business within an assigned territory Utilize internal tools and processes to identify risks through assessment, judgment, and analytics Travel occasionally to meet with agents in the territory to further outline appetites for growth Work with internal partners in loss control, client service, claims, marketing, and more to put together cohesive sales and marketing plans Stay on top of trends, continuing education, training, and development Skills & Experience 3-5 years of commercial lines underwriting experience Strong technical knowledge and understanding of basic and core underwriting principles Strong communication and presentation skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Capstone Search Group
