Be part of a team as a Lead Project Engineer with the interest, aptitude, and experience associated with the design, development, integration, and qualification of Aerospace Actuation products leading Commercial and Defense programs within our Honeywell Aerospace Control Systems – Actuation Systems product line. You will be the technical leader and primary decision maker for program cost, schedule, and technical issues. You will lead the prioritization of work packages, design goals, and objectives, and drive overall program performance throughout the development lifecycle. Responsibilities Program/Project Management Cost account management skills in the SAP environment System and Component Requirements analysis and decomposition Control architecture and design Physics‑based model development and system design Root cause and corrective action planning and execution Mechanical Systems validation & verification Customer technical interface Work with functional leaders to prioritize resources and implement project objectives Less than 10% domestic US travel US Citizenship Requirement Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws, regulations and contractual requirements, candidate must be a U.S. citizen. You Must Have Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics Minimum ten (10) years of Engineering experience in Complex Aerospace Systems We Value Strong management operating system that facilitates communication Leadership Skills — specifically decision making, driving results, and bias for action Utilizes Six Sigma and program management tools as appropriate within the Integrated Product Development Systems (IPDS) framework Persuasion to influence others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches Ensures that departmental core competencies include continuous PE skill development Understanding of business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers Business acumen – knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relating to discipline and application within the industry Mechanical/Actuation Systems design and component controller integration Experience with systems requirement flow down Experience developing motor driven actuation systemsExperience with systems requirement V&V Secret Security clearance About Us Join a company that is reintroducing itself to the aviation community we’ve helped advance for more than a century.
