We started with a business plan 1964 that remains unchanged today: serve your customers well, treat your employees as family, and work hard.Come Join Our Family!Our Great Valley Division, located in Bridgeport, PA, is currently searching for Diesel Mechanics due to growth!What You Will Do:Perform diagnostic, repair and maintenance on trucks, construction equipment, including auxiliary components in accordance with manufacturer’s specificationsKnowledgeable in the safe operation of all garage tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, hoists and jacking equipmentIdentify and obtain necessary replacement parts as needed to execute repairsAdhere to manufacturer’s warranty policies and proceduresCapability to independently analyze and safely resolve problemsCorrect vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction unitsSpecial projects and other job duties as assignedYou Have/You Are:Diesel Engine Technical degree and/or training or relative and transferable experienceKnowledge in the safe operation of all garage tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, hoists and jacking equipmentAbility to Identify and obtain necessary replacement parts as needed to execute repairsAbility to read, understand and interpret technical data via instruction manualsBasic computer skills with the ability to learn new systems and softwareA valid driver’s licenseStrong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentMust be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasksYou Might Have:A Commercial Driving License (A or B)PA State Inspection License (highly desired)ASEsYour own toolsWe Offer:Competitive SalaryHealth InsuranceLife Insurance401K with Company matchEligible for Annual BonusA fun, family environmentand much more!!For over 40 years, our motto has been "If it's service, it's us".
