Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week
Lunch Break: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Pay Rate: $22–$24/hr
Note: This job doesn’t offer any benefits.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide front- and back-office support, assist with patient care and clinical procedures, and help ensure efficient daily clinic operations.
Responsibilities
Greet patients, assist with registration, and prepare patients for examinations.
Room patients and obtain and document vital signs.
Perform blood draws, phlebotomy, and venipuncture procedures.
Administer vaccines within the authorized scope of practice.
Perform EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing as required.
Schedule appointments and answer incoming phone calls.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Support front-office and back-office clinical and administrative operations.
Prepare examination rooms and ensure supplies and equipment are ready for patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
Support patient education, health promotion, and preventive care initiatives.
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow established clinical procedures.
Collaborate with clinic staff to support smooth operations and a positive patient experience.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, excluding externship.
Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.
Phlebotomy and venipuncture experience required.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required.
Experience supporting front-office and back-office operations.
Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and ability to interact professionally with patients.
BLS or CPR certification preferred.
$80 - $105 per hour
