Website: Locations: Nashville Garland Aarhus Lisbon Worldwide Job Title: Scrum Master Job Location: US - Remote The Scrum Master owns delivery cadence, team flow, capacity visibility, and blocker removal for a cross-functional digital product team spanning engineering, data, enterprise systems, and design. This role is accountable for how the team works: whether ceremonies drive real decisions, whether capacity and commitments are visible, and whether blockers get cleared before they cost a sprint. The Scrum Master owns the process, rhythm, and health of how the team executes, working directly with functional leads to keep the team unblocked, the cadence predictable, and delivery performance improving over time. This role ensures the team can do its best work, consistently. Key Responsibilities Own delivery cadence: sprint rhythm, ceremony effectiveness, and team operating norms.Own capacity visibility, ensuring leadership and the Product Owner always have an accurate read on what the team can realistically take on.Own blocker removal, proactively identifying and resolving impediments technical, organizational, or interpersonal before they slow delivery down.Own team flow, monitoring work-in-progress, cycle time, and throughput to keep work moving smoothly through the pipeline.Own the health of the delivery process, changing it when it stops working rather than defending it out of habit.Accountable for: Throughput, delivery predictability, cycle time, and team flow health. Ceremonies & Cadence Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives so each ceremony drives a real decision or improvement, not a status recital.Partner with the Product Owner to bring triaged, ready work into the sprint.Keep sprint scope protected once committed, surfacing and pushing back on mid-sprint scope change.Run retrospectives that produce concrete process changes, and track that those changes actually stick. Flow & Capacity Track and report team capacity, velocity, and commitment reliability on a consistent cadence.Monitor work-in-progress limits, cycle time, and throughput; identify bottlenecks in the delivery pipeline and drive changes to resolve them.Maintain clear, accurate forecasts so the Product Owner and engineering leadership can plan with confidence.Flag capacity risks early, each with a likely impact and a path to resolution. Delivery Health & Process Track delivery health flow, throughput, and predictability trends and report status on a weekly cadence to the Head of Product Engineering.Continuously improve team process and tooling; remove ceremonies or steps that no longer earn their place.Coach the team and functional leads on Agile/Scrum principles, fostering self-organization and continuous improvement.Partner with the Product Owner to keep delivery process aligned with sprint commitments and release scope.Establish and track flow metrics, including cycle time, throughput, capacity utilization, and blocker resolution time, to identify opportunities and drive improvements in delivery performance. Communications & Collaboration Serve as the team's primary point of contact for questions on process, capacity, and impediments.Communicate team flow health, risks, and blockers clearly to the Product Owner and cross-functional stakeholders.Work directly with the Product Owner, UX designer, developers, business systems analysts, and engineers day-to-day.Facilitate cross-team coordination with other Scrum Masters and Product Owners to manage dependencies across teams. Profile Take ownership without being asked; makes decisions under ambiguity and stands behind them.Direct and decisive in protecting team focus; able to push back on scope creep and hold the team to its commitments.Precise and structured in tracking capacity, flow, and delivery health data.Runs multiple concurrent workstreams without dropping threads; steady under pressure.Improves systems rather than maintaining them.Builds trust and alignment across functional leads and the Product Owner; influences without relying on formal authority.3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in an equivalent agile delivery role, with demonstrated ownership of team flow and delivery predictability.Experience facilitating delivery for multi-platform or cross-functional teams.Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Kanban methodologies.Comfortable using flow, capacity, and delivery data to identify bottlenecks and drive process improvement.Experience with agile tooling (e.g., Jira, Linear, Azure DevOps) for tracking capacity, velocity, and flow metrics. Preferred Qualifications Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification.Experience in enterprise software environments.Familiarity with SAFe or other scaled agile frameworks.Background coaching multiple teams simultaneously.Experience working with digital products at scale and within data-driven product teams. #LI-Remote
