35P Signals Intelligence Voice Interceptor
Descripción del puesto:
Como Interceptor de Voz de Inteligencia de Señales, usarás tus habilidades de lingüista para identificar, clasificar, traducir y resumir comunicaciones en idiomas extranjeros desde tu lugar. También operarás y supervisarás los equipos de señales usados en operaciones de inteligencia. Aprenderás las habilidades de inteligencia necesarias para realizar sesiones informativas militares y avisar a las autoridades competentes cuando sea necesario. Esta labor es importante porque la defensa de la nación depende en gran parte de la información que proviene de idiomas extranjeros.
Bonos de hasta $20,000
Requisitos:
- Ser ciudadano estadounidense
- Tener entre 17 y 42 años de edad
- Tener diploma de High School o GED
- Cumplir con las reglas sobre los tatuajes
- No tener infracciones legales graves
- No tener complicaciones médicas
Pruebas y Certificaciones:
- 42 certificaciones reconocidas a nivel nacional disponibles
- 10 semanas de Basic Training
- 5 a 20 semanas de Advanced Individual Training
- 85 o más de puntuación en el Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB) (sólo Servicio Activo)
- 101 puntuación ASVAB: Skilled Technical (ST) * puedes evitar el DLAB con una puntuación ST de 129 o más
- 36 a 64 semanas de educación en el Defense Foreign Language Institute si el Soldado no domina un idioma extranjero

- Comunicaciones extranjeras
- Traducción y reportes
- Detección y análisis

El Army Civilian Acquired Skills Program (ACASP) puede reducir la duración de tu entrenamiento inicial y agilizar tu proceso de asignación para que puedas empezar tu carrera en el Army cuanto antes. Las habilidades o experiencia previas relacionadas con esta carrera pueden darte ventaja de unirte al Army en un rango más alto, ganar más salario y obtener puestos de liderazgo más rápido.
