Senior Python Software Engineer

An active or re‑instatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is REQUIRED. GliaCell is seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full‑time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission‑related software and systems to a large government contract. Key Requirements Possess an active or re‑instatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. 6+ years Software Engineering experience and a MS degree in Computer Science or related, or 8+ years of experience and a BS Degree, or 10+ years of experience and an AA Degree, or +12 years of experience and a High School Diploma. Works well independently as well as on a team. Key Skills A minimum of 5 years of Python experience. AWS Experience. Docker. Library Development/Maintenance. Experience in statistical analysis, data mining, advanced analytics, data management, machine learning, or artificial intelligence. Experience with developing cyber security related analytics. Experience with running analytics against large data repositories. Work with SMEs to identify relevant information from data sources. Desired Skills Elasticsearch/Splunk. Ansible. Grafana. Location Linthicum Heights, MD. Salary Range The salary range for this full‑time position is $170,000 to $260,000. Sign‑on bonus eligible.
