Role Summary

The Interventional Radiographer:

• Performs vascular and interventional radiology procedures
• Supports angiographic imaging in IR suite
• Covers neuro, thoracic, abdominal, GI/GU, peripheral vascular, and venous access procedures
• Works with critically ill patients across adult and geriatric populations
• Ensures adherence to sterile technique and imaging protocols
• Assists physicians during complex minimally invasive procedures

• Level II Trauma Center
• Teaching hospital (UCF College of Medicine partnership)

• • Heart & Vascular Institute
  • Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • Pediatric ER & NICU (Level II)
  • Women’s services & maternity (“Baby Suites”)
  • Orthopedics & spine
  • Behavioral health
  • Freestanding ER (Hunter’s Creek ER)

Position Snapshot

• Role: Interventional Radiographer (Vascular Interventional / Special Procedures Tech)
• Location: Kissimmee, FL
• Facility Type: 404-bed Level II Trauma & teaching hospital
• Employment Type: Full-time (permanent contingent)
• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Compensation & Incentives

• Pay Range:
• • ~$32.50 Up to $44/hr
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
• Relocation: Case-by-case

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited Radiology program (preferred for special procedures track)
• Florida State Radiologic Technologist license – required
• ARRT (R) – required
• 1 year IR experience
• ARRT (CV) – preferred (strong advantage)
