Candidates should have 3-4 years of experience in case management. Experience in the Emergency Department is required. First-time travelers are welcome. Charting experience with Epic is preferred. There is no weekend requirement. Business professional attire is expected. Recent case management experience is necessary. This position requires on-call availability. No specific daily census or patient ratios are indicated. The candidate must comply with HIPAA guidelines. Must demonstrate skills in care coordination and discharge planning. Responsibilities include determining medical necessity according to evidence-based guidelines. The role involves concurrent reviews and audits related to care quality. Candidates should possess knowledge of admission criteria and benefit eligibility. Experience with InterQual criteria is desirable. The position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. No specific restrictions on time off are indicated, but keeping RTO to under seven days is preferred. This job does not require weekend coverage as a standard.
