Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT) Life's Path LLC | DeLand, Florida | Full-Time, On-Site | W-2 About Life's Path Life's Path is a growing outpatient mental health practice in DeLand, Florida, focused on providing high-quality, compassionate, and individualized mental health care. We believe great therapy happens when clinicians have the support, structure, and resources they need to focus on their clients. Our practice combines a warm, client-centered environment with clear clinical standards, collaborative leadership, administrative support, and opportunities for professional growth. As Life's Path continues to expand, we are looking for a licensed clinician who wants to build a long-term home within a growing group practice—not simply fill a caseload. The Role We are seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our DeLand clinical team. This is an on-site W-2 position designed for a clinician who enjoys providing consistent outpatient therapy while being part of a collaborative and supportive practice. The clinician will maintain an established weekly caseload, provide individual psychotherapy and other clinically appropriate services, complete timely documentation, and collaborate with our clinical and administrative teams to ensure clients receive consistent, high-quality care. What You'll Do Provide evidence-informed individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, or families based on your areas of competency and interest Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and establish appropriate diagnoses Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals Maintain an ongoing caseload and provide consistent continuity of care Monitor treatment progress and modify interventions as clinically appropriate Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes Coordinate care with physicians, schools, community providers, or other professionals when clinically appropriate Maintain appropriate ethical, professional, and confidentiality standards Participate in clinical consultation, team meetings, and professional development Collaborate with Life's Path leadership and administrative staff regarding scheduling, client needs, utilization, and continuity of care Schedule & Caseload This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek , structured around approximately: 35 client-facing hours per week 3 paid hours dedicated to documentation and administrative responsibilities We are looking for a clinician who values consistency and is comfortable maintaining a full outpatient caseload. Compensation Starting at $60,000 annually , depending on experience, licensure, clinical background, and qualifications. Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who is clinically strong, dependable, collaborative, and genuinely invested in providing excellent client care. Candidates should have: Active Florida licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related behavioral health field Strong assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy skills Strong written documentation and clinical record-keeping skills Ability to manage an ongoing caseload and complete documentation consistently Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, inclusive, and client-centered care Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a clinical and administrative team Interest in contributing to a growing practice and developing professionally over time Experience working with children, adolescents, trauma, couples, families, or other specialty populations is welcomed but not required for every candidate.
