Domain: Google Cloud Platform — Identity & Access Management

Role Overview:

Hands-on engineering role designing and building keyless, enterprise-scale Identity and Access Management (IAM) for Google Cloud Platform at JPMC. Responsible for expressing all identity and access mechanisms as Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) deployed strictly via pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• GCP IAM as Code: Design and deliver organization-, folder-, and project-level role bindings and custom roles using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Federated Identity Management: Configure Workforce Identity Federation for enterprise user access and Workload Identity Federation to eliminate static keys for applications/pipelines.
• Service Account Governance: Manage the full service account lifecycle (provisioning, impersonation, naming, key elimination) and establish least-privilege role models.
• Access Governance: Review access requests to prevent over-granting and enforce strict least-privilege standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Required Technical Skills:
• • Strong hands-on Terraform (modules, CI/CD, IaC).
  • Deep expertise in GCP IAM (policy inheritance, predefined vs. custom roles, role evaluation, least-privilege enforcement).
  • Strong mastery of Workforce and Workload Identity Federation (keyless machine authentication and enterprise IDP integration).
• Nice to Have:
• • IAM Deny policies, IAM Conditions, and custom role design governance.
  • Proven experience executing keyless migrations or removing service-account keys at scale.
  • Background operating within large, regulated enterprise environments.
