RN Registered Nurse

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract at a long-term care facility north of Dodge City, Kansas. The role offers up to $2,000 per week and flexible 3-day 12-hour shifts. The RN will provide compassionate care to residents in a close-knit rural community. Key Responsibilities: Provide compassionate nursing care to long-term care residents Complete assessments and monitor changes in resident condition Administer medications and treatments as ordered Coordinate care with physicians, CNAs, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Respond appropriately to changes in condition and emergency situations Educate residents and families regarding care plans and ongoing health needs Follow facility policies, infection-control standards, and state/federal regulations Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program Active Kansas RN license or Compact RN license BLS certification Strong assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills Ability to work independently in a rural healthcare environment Reliable, compassionate, and comfortable working with geriatric populations Preferred Skills: Previous LTC, skilled nursing, or similar nursing experience preferred You hold an active Kansas RN or Compact license.
