Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Experience working in Life Skills or Self-Contained classroom settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Ability to tailor instruction to diverse learning needs
- A genuine commitment to student achievement and well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in Life Skills and Self-Contained classrooms
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet each student’s unique goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff
- Utilize accommodations, modifications, and assistive technology to maximize access and participation
- Monitor progress and document student growth
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom community
