Yard Spotter Position
National Star Services is a 28-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of Yard Spotters in Savannah, GA 31407! Short-Term Position Pay: $23.25/hour (bi-weekly pay) Schedules Available:
- A) Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- B) Monday – Thursday | 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM
- C) Friday–Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
We are seeking a proactive and safety-conscious Yard Spotter to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently maneuvering tractor-trailers to transport empty trailers, and keeping the site organized, ensuring smooth and safe vehicle movements.
Responsibilities:
- Move trailers to and from dock doors, yard locations, and staging areas.
- Maintain yard organization by correctly spotting trailers and containers.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles for safety, damage, or maintenance needs before and after movements.
Requirements:
- Need CDL Drivers.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to start as soon as possible.
- Yard Spotter experience with a focus on tractor-trailers or similar freight vehicles.
- A background check and drug test will be conducted.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
