Sterile Processing Technician

This position involves the processing of surgical instruments and maintaining sterilization standards. Daily responsibilities include the assembly, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical tools and equipment. Knowledge of sterilization wrapping procedures and high-level disinfection is essential. The technician will work closely with surgical staff to ensure that all instruments are ready for use. On-call duties are required every fifth weekend, covering shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Time off requests during major holidays will not be accommodated. Candidates should be prepared to provide proof of residency documents upon acceptance. Floating to different units may be required based on staffing needs. Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at the same campus within the last 24 months.
