Communications Manager

Quest Corporation of America, Inc. (Quest) seeks an experienced, strategic, and creative Communications Manager to lead communications and marketing initiatives supporting our clients and organizational goals. DESCRIPTION: The Communications Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing integrated communications, marketing, and public awareness strategies across traditional and digital platforms. This position oversees communications projects from concept through completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with client objectives, brand standards, budgets, and timelines.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, skilled storyteller, and collaborative leader with demonstrated experience in communications planning, content development, digital marketing, stakeholder engagement, and project management. This individual must be comfortable managing multiple priorities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating complex information into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and implement integrated communications, marketing, and public awareness strategies aligned with client and organizational objectives.

• Create and manage communications plans, marketing campaigns, content calendars, and strategic messaging across multiple platforms.

• Develop compelling, audience-focused content for newsletters, websites, social media, email communications, presentations, advertising, and promotional materials.

• Lead the planning and execution of traditional and digital communications initiatives, including public relations, branding, and outreach campaigns.

• Maintain brand consistency, messaging accuracy, and quality standards across all communications materials.

• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and communications best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

• Manage communications projects from initial planning through implementation, ensuring deliverables meet established objectives, deadlines, and budgets.

• Collaborate with creative, digital, multimedia, and technical teams to develop effective communications materials and campaigns.

• Provide creative direction, editorial review, and quality control for written, visual, and digital content.

• Coordinate project schedules, resources, priorities, and deliverables across internal teams and external partners.

• Prepare and review communications plans, reports, presentations, and other client-facing materials.

• Monitor campaign performance, analyze engagement metrics, and recommend improvements based on results.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring responsive, professional communication.

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify communications needs, establish objectives, and develop effective strategies and solutions.

• Lead and participate in client meetings, project discussions, presentations, and strategic planning sessions.

• Coordinate communications and outreach activities with internal teams, vendors, community partners, and other stakeholders.

• Support the planning and execution of meetings, workshops, events, and public engagement initiatives.

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen client relationships, and enhance project outcomes.

The candidate must have an associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, preferably in marketing, communications, business administration, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, minimum of two (2) years of experience in administrative support, marketing coordination, office management, or a related role.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered; State agency experience is a plus

• A minimum of two (2) years of digital experience, particularly with administrative support, marketing coordination, outreach support, operational coordination

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills (AP style preferred)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and common business, marketing, and collaboration platforms

• Commitment to excellence — working nonstandard hours when necessary, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy, identifying emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

• Experience supporting marketing, communications, outreach, or public engagement activities

• Familiarity with social media management, email marketing, website content management, or graphic design tools

• Experience coordinating events, meetings, or stakeholder engagement activities

• Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems, project management tools, or marketing platforms
