Mobile Veterinary Surgeon (Board Certified / Diplomate / Residency Trained) Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Salary: USD 250,000 – USD 300,000 per year Are you seeking a better work‑life balance, away from the stresses of on‑call, weekends, and ICU demands? This highly collaborative practice is looking for an experienced Mobile Veterinary Surgeon to join a team of specialists. The role offers built‑in support and flexibility. Practice Overview This surgery‑only practice employs five board‑certified surgeons and an admissions doctor for urgent cases. Four surgeons work in‑house while one surgeon serves a mobile role with no on‑call or weekend hours. The mobile surgeon has the option to perform certain cases in a fully equipped hospital setting when needed. Team and Support The mobile surgeon works with a network of specialists, technical staff, and preparation teams. Support includes a dedicated vehicle, surgical technician team, comprehensive equipment, and pack/prep and sterilization teams at the hospital. Role Expectations The role involves conducting surgical procedures in a mobile setting, coordinating with referring veterinarians, and collaborating with the surgical center for hospital cases. It requires excellent bedside manner, teamwork, and the ability to maintain high standards of patient care.
