Senior ServiceNow DeveloperThe Sr. ServiceNow Developer position requires the candidate to take the lead in identifying, refining, organizing, documenting and implementing business processes for the Department of State. This individual will collaborate directly with the customer and other subject matter experts to develop or re-engineer processes.Provides application support for the configuration, customization, and administration of the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB)Provides expert advice on the ITSM Product Suite, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and relationships of these applications to the CMDBProvides application support for the configuration of platform capabilities to include Knowledge Management, Service Request Management, and Service PortalDeploys core functionality in an out-of-the-box ServiceNow systemBuild Custom Applications within ServiceNowGenerates workflows and integrations with the latest ServiceNow technologiesGenerates Automated Test Framework (ATF) tests associated with code producedWorks as part of an agile scrum team, supporting story point estimation, managing stories through their lifecycle, and actively participating in agile ceremoniesHandles multiple tasks by prioritizing based on client need and ensuring quality standards and work performanceWorks as part of a team on client engagementsQuickly adapts to dynamic customer environments and adjusts their processes to foster innovationMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in a related fieldMinimum of (8) years of progressively responsible experience in operations, business management, technology strategy, project management, analysis, and planning or policy developmentExtensive knowledge in ITIL and ITSM processesFamiliarity with UI Builder and other recent ServiceNow technologiesExperience with Angular JSProven ability in problem-solving, process improvement, and change managementExperience configuring and administering ServiceNowStrong interpersonal and team orientation skills in working with various levels of technical and business-oriented individualsDesired Qualifications:ServiceNow Certified System AdministratorCMDB FundamentalsCertified Implementation Specialist in: Discovery, Service Mapping, or ITSMPrior experience governing ServiceNow InstancesPrior experience in a consulting environment, preferably within the public sectorAkumen is a leading management and technology consulting firm that specializes in serving the federal government.
