Responsibilities: Perform final component installation, inspections, and operational functional validation testing for aircraft readiness. Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections and support rework, modifications, troubleshooting, and system checks. Inspect pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to diagnose and document mechanical or electrical/electronic issues. Validate and verify the accuracy of completed work in accordance with flight test and delivery standards. Assist with sub-system and system-level inspections, maintenance, and customer delivery readiness. Plan, schedule, and manage assigned activities with guidance from lead technicians; work is reviewed for compliance with objectives. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or associate degree preferred. 4+ years of relevant aircraft maintenance, manufacturing, or aerospace industry experience; or equivalent education and experience. 1+ years of avionics or electrical system experience. Must be willing and able to work any shift , including days, nights, and weekends. Must meet eligibility to obtain FAA Repairman’s Certificate , if not currently licensed. Preferred Qualifications Experience on the 787 program . Prior work in airline, MRO, or overhaul environments . Experience with operating systems and computing tools for maintenance documentation. Previous team leadership or mentoring experience in a production or flight line setting.
