Job Title Talent Acquisition Specialist (REPOST) Responsibilities Under limited supervision, the Talent Acquisition Specialist coordinates and executes the recruitment and selection process for the County of Will. The position supports workforce planning, enhances recruitment strategies, and ensures compliance with County policies, collective bargaining agreements, and applicable local, state, and federal laws. The role manages complex professional and administrative functions critical to the success of the Human Resources Department and assists with the training and roll‑out of the new HRIS/Payroll system’s Talent/HR module. Confidentiality of sensitive and personal information is preserved each day. The position reports directly to the Human Resources Manager II. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience performing complex and responsible duties in Human Resources with an emphasis on recruiting and job placement, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid State of Illinois Driver’s License is required, and minimum automobile insurance as required by law. Public sector experience within a union environment is preferred. SHRM‑SCP, SHRM‑CP, SPHR or PHR certification is preferred.
