Tooling Machinist

Tooling Machinist Kenworth Truck Company has an opening for a Tooling Machinist at our plant in Renton, Washington. Job Functions / Responsibilities Complete assigned PMs and WO’s Perform PM and repair of tools for production Distribute tools and supplies to production as requested Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within assigned areas and perform duties of the group safety monitor, including: Complete weekly safety and housekeeping reviews Review process equipment to assure safe operation Assisting in updating the SDS documentation file Properly handling and disposing of hazardous materials within assigned area Customer service tasks: Distribute materials to customers Follow up with customers on material needs or questions Maintain stock of supplies and adjust min/max levels as needed for production Qualifications Previous experience with all types of tools and supplies Good working knowledge of equipment and tools preferred Previous experience with stockroom and inventory management Education in related technical skills highly desirable Minimum four years of demonstrated proficiency in an appropriate craft or trade, including two years with Kenworth High level of work organization, with strong written and verbal communication skills Must be intimately familiar with product equipment, materials, and manufacturing standards Possess barcode knowledge, PC experience, and familiarity with MMS (Maintenance Management System) Available to work the shift 11:00am to 7:30pm Benefits $44.99/hour Automatic Wage Progression based on service time; attendance/performance in good standing Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays Employer paid pension and options to participate in 401k Employer provided uniforms EAP services including wellness plans Tuition reimbursement for continued education EEO Statement PACCAR is an Equal Opportunity Employer and protects veterans and individuals with disabilities.
