From uncovering the next clinical breakthrough, to rapid and reliable sample analysis, to more rigorous decision making—we are enabling clinicians to deliver the best possible care to their patients with improved efficiency, clinical confidence, adaptive collaboration, and accelerated intelligence.Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.The Senior Facilities Technician is responsible for performing building and property maintenance to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive work environment for the Sacramento associates.This position is part of the Facilities team located in Sacramento, CA and will be an on-site role.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Perform Facility Maintenance per service requests and emergency calls (HVAC, plumbing, lighting, assembly, office tasks, general repairs)Perform preventive maintenance on Facilities equipmentWork collaboratively with the facilities department as well as project and facility managersThe essential requirements of the job include:High school diploma with several years of experienceHVAC Certification (EPA Section 608 certification or HVAC excellence) or relevant experienceAbility to perform general building troubleshooting/repairs (doors, flooring, drywall, painting).Basic understanding of electrical (lighting, outlets, breaker panels) and plumbing (pipes, valves, drains) systemsTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:Ability to lift, move or carry up to 50 lbs. and ability to climb laddersMust have a valid driver's licenseIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Building Management and Environmental monitoring systemsReading and working-from blueprints, technical schematics, and floor layouts.Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
