Job Description Summary Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal‑directed patient care to families and patients at a competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. A sign‑on bonus of $30,000 is available to new hires with experience. Minimum Training and Education Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an equivalent, or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) ACLS certification required. Physical and Mental Requirements • Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors and outside in temperature extremes, from elevated areas, in confined spaces, kneeling positions, bending at the waist, twisting at the waist, squatting, pinching, gross motor activities with fingers and hands, firm grasping, fine manipulation, reaching overhead, repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders, using both legs, lower extremities for balance and coordination, reaching in all directions. • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted; lift/lower objects 50 lbs. from/to floor 36 inches unassisted; lift from 36" to overhead 25 lbs.; exert up to 50 lbs. of force. • Vision: maintain 20/40 corrected in one or both eyes; recognize objects at hand or distance; discriminate colors; depth perception; peripheral vision. • Hearing: maintain acuity with correction. • Gross motor functions with frequent fine motor movements. • Handle stressful situations, rotating shifts, overtime, latex‑safe environment, tactile sensations, good olfactory function (selected positions), respirator use (selected positions).
