Logistics Manager

Head of Fulfillment Network & Logistics (Hybrid, Sonoma, CA or Denver, CO) Hybrid role based out of our Sonoma, CA or Denver, CO office. As Head of Fulfillment Network & Logistics, you will own the strategy, performance, and evolution of Naked Wines’ global fulfillment network across the US and UK. You’ll work at the intersection of strategy, commercial decision‑making, and operational execution, ensuring the network scales efficiently while delivering a best‑in‑class customer experience. This role is best suited for leaders who have managed outsourced fulfillment networks and 3PL partners at scale; it is not a traditional warehouse role. Key Responsibilities Fulfillment Network Strategy Define and evolve our multi‑node fulfillment strategy across regions. Optimize network design, node placement, and inventory positioning. Balance cost, speed, and customer experience at scale. Lead decisions on when to expand, consolidate, or shift partners. 3PL & Carrier Performance (Core Accountability) Own performance across a network of 3PL partners and delivery providers. Lead commercial negotiations, contracts, and pricing structures (>$40M+ spend). Establish and enforce network‑wide KPIs and SLAs (OTIF, OCT, cost per order, damage rates). Implement robust governance (QBRs, scorecards, escalation frameworks). End‑to‑End Customer Experience Own the operational drivers behind delivery experience and NPS. Identify friction points across fulfillment and last‑mile delivery. Partner with Customer Service and Product to continuously improve outcomes. Data, Systems & Continuous Improvement Leverage data to drive network‑wide optimization and decision‑making. Champion scalable processes across a non‑uniform partner network. Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency gains. Cross‑Functional & Executive Leadership Partner with Wine, Commercial, Finance, and Customer teams to align supply and demand. Translate operational performance into business impact and strategic decisions. Lead and develop a team responsible for day‑to‑day execution (including 3PL performance management). Compliance & Regulatory Oversight Ensure adherence to US and UK regulatory environments (alcohol, safety). Own risk management across a distributed partner network. Required Qualifications & Skills BEng/BSc in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related technical field. Proficient with Google Workspaces and/or MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Understanding of organisational goals, office procedures, policies and Employee Handbook. Proof of eligibility to work in your country of employment (US/UK). Ability to analyse situations and implement solutions independently. Ability to work cooperatively and establish and maintain effective work relationships while performing duties. Ability to organise work to meet deadlines. Ability to translate big data into tactical operational recommendations. Expertise in continuous improvement. Proven track record in a senior leadership role managing large‑scale 3PLs. What We’re Looking For Proven leadership of multi‑site or global fulfillment networks. Deep experience managing 3PL partners and outsourced logistics models. Ownership of large‑scale logistics spend and commercial negotiations. Strong understanding of e‑commerce / D2C fulfillment complexity. Ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels. Experience influencing outcomes without direct operational control. Highly data‑driven, with strong business and financial acumen. Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $160,000 – $170,000 Annual Bonus Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance – 90% employee coverage, 60% dependent coverage (eligible from day 1).
