Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
Provide specialized cardiac catheterization laboratory support by performing diagnostic and interventional procedures with precision and adherence to safety standards. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures, including IR techniques, with a high degree of skill and accuracy.
• Administer and monitor pharmacological agents, contrast media, and patient sedation during procedures.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure all equipment is properly prepared and functioning.
• Observe and interpret patient responses and vital signs, escalating concerns as necessary.
• Document procedure details, patient data, and post-procedure care accurately in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to coordinate patient care and procedure flow efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ACLS, BLS, and RCIS certifications with IR tech experience.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac cath labs or IR settings.
• Exhibit strong technical proficiency with cath lab equipment and protocols.
• Possess excellent attention to detail and clinical judgment.
• Ability to work autonomously during high-pressure procedures and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Be flexible to work 4x10-hour day shifts, with required on-call duties, including weekends and holidays.
