As our Human Resources Generalist & Recruiting , you'll lead recruiting and onboarding efforts while supporting key HR functions that help our employees and business thrive.

What You'll Do

• Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and partner with hiring managers to identify the best fit.
• Manage recruiting activities through our applicant tracking system, iRecruit.
• Build relationships with staffing agencies, colleges, trade schools, and community organizations.
• Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks, references, and driving record reviews.
• Conduct engaging new hire orientations and onboarding programs.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
• Assist with compliance activities, employment verifications, and reporting requirements.
• Partner with managers to develop and maintain job descriptions.
• Provide backup support for payroll, benefits, and other HR initiatives.
• Occasionally travel to company locations and assist with employee events, operational support, and special projects.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• At least 1 year of Human Resources experience required.
• Recruiting and payroll experience strongly preferred.
  
• Transportation, logistics, or industrial industry experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
