About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to spearhead its financial operations in North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing all accounting activities, including ensuring the accuracy of financial records, managing the close process, and overseeing core functions such as budgeting, forecasting, and cash management. This role demands a seasoned finance executive with a strong background in both controllership and FP&A, capable of providing strategic financial analysis and guidance to senior leadership. The VP of Accounting will also be instrumental in long-range planning, investment analysis, and shaping pricing and margin strategies. Applicants for the VP of Accounting position at the company should hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field, with a CPA and/or CMA designation strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive finance leadership experience is required, with a proven track record in managing full month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in consumer products, manufacturing, wholesale, or retail distribution, and experience in multi-entity and multi-currency organizations. Strong leadership skills, the ability to influence senior executives, and expertise in annual budgeting, financial reporting, and close management processes are essential for this role.
