Registered Nurse – ICU (Critical Care Flex Pool)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting within a short-term acute care, Level I Trauma, teaching facility
• Manage and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias independently, including reading and interpreting own cardiac strips
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips in accordance with facility protocols
• Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards, including medication administration via BCMA
• Float as needed to Medical/Surgical Telemetry units and the Cardiac Monitoring Room based on census and skill needs
• Complete all required orientation modules during the first week of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact state license (may be submitted as pending)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU/critical care nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience with cardiac drips (excluding vasopressors)
• Proficiency in management and independent interpretation of cardiac dysrhythmias
• Ability to float without restrictions to designated units within the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records
• Familiarity with BCMA medication administration practices
• Comfort working in a high-acuity environment with patient ratios of 3–4:1
