Senior Mechanical Engineer

Collaborate with Project Managers and Laser Engineers to design and optimize optomechanics components. Perform initial and ongoing design reviews Develop CAD project drawings and review drawings from junior team members for accuracy Deliver documentation offering a critical analysis and suggestions for correcting errors Other duties as assigned Mechanical Engineer Skills M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Photonics or Optics. 5+ years’ experience in mechanical design, preferred in optical and laser industries. Strong knowledge in AutoCAD/SolidWorks software and drafting procedures Excellent prioritization and project development skills Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing Benefits include medical insurance, vision insurance, 401(k), and disability insurance.
