We aim to make music lessons as accessible and affordable as possible, believing that music education is essential to a happier world. Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for piano. We do not have a brick‑and‑mortar studio in Tucson, but students need teachers ASAP. Lessons can be held in student homes, the instructor’s own home or studio, or via webcam. While webcam lessons are a small percentage of the student base, most students still prefer in‑person lessons. Therefore, we need local instructors willing to travel to students in the Tucson area. You will be paid on an independent contractor basis at $20–$30 per hour, depending on travel time, experience/education, and student retention rate. You have freedom to set your own schedule and lesson plans. We handle all advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing to help you focus on teaching. Qualifications Experience with children, a love for teaching, good communication with our office, and punctuality are essential. Formal music training is not mandatory, but either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience is required. COVID‑19 Precautions Most students prefer to have their instructor come to their home or meet at the instructor’s studio.
