Software Engineer - AI & Internal Systems

Responsibilities

• Embed with teams across the company to understand workflows and identify opportunities for automation.
• Connect SaaS tools, APIs, databases, internal systems, LLMs, and AI agents.
• Build custom backend and frontend software when integrations or off-the-shelf products are insufficient.
• Create workflows that transform product specifications into structured engineering work.
• Provide reliable company context for coding agents and systems that keep documentation current.
• Connect product knowledge to Marketing, Sales, Capture, and Programs.
• Build secure AI-assisted workflows for government proposals and controlled information.
• Measure workflow effectiveness and continuously improve The Grid.

Requirements

• Write production software and learn unfamiliar systems quickly.
• Use AI coding tools naturally and demonstrate enthusiasm for agentic software development.
• Work across APIs, data, automation, backend systems, and lightweight interfaces.
• Be comfortable deploying software and writing backend and frontend code.
• Operate independently from outcomes rather than detailed specifications.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Demonstrate curiosity, technical judgment, speed, ownership, and willingness to challenge existing processes.
• Experience with enterprise integrations, developer tooling, LLMs, agents, knowledge systems, security, or government environments is helpful but not required.
• Meet the stated ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.
