Senior Audit Manager

Our client, located in north central Phoenix and one of Arizona's largest, locally owned CPA and business advisory firms, is looking for a stellar Senior Audit Manager to join their team. This position will manage clients and staff and will work within several niches including Manufacturing/Retail/Distribution, Restaurants, Construction, Real Estate, and Individual/Estate/Gift. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and base salary up to $140,000 DOE.We are looking for an audit manager which entails the following responsibilities:Perform field work of audits, reviews and compilationsPrepare financial statements with full disclosuresPlan, supervise and complete routine engagementsSupervise other accountants (of varying levels of proficiency and experience)Review work performed by other accountantsDevelop new client relationships, and strengthen existing relationshipsRecognize opportunities to provide additional services to clientsAssist in firm administrative functions as neededCandidates should meet the following criteria:Bachelor’s Degre in AccountingMinimum 5+ years public accounting experienceActive CPASelf-motivatedWork well in a team environmentExcellent communication skillsStrong analytical skillsPreparation of financial statements and income tax returnsA high understanding of GAAP and special purpose frameworksA high understanding of GAASAt least a limited understanding of GAGAS / Yellow BookExperience in financial statement compilation – both with and without notesExperience with financial statement audits and reviewsType: direct hire
