JOB SUMMARY

This position entails general kitchen work to prepare and serve students meals. Must maintain a good rapport with students, employees and community. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals. Washing trays, pans, utensils and other kitchen equipment. Cleaning the school kitchen and cafeteria after meal service. Emptying the trash containers. Operating AccuScan register during meal times, including cash and ticket sales. Balancing daily register tapes with cash receipts. Performing other duties as assigned. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED required. Level One IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card. Maricopa County Food Handling card and ServSafe certification. PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Previous food service experience, preferred.
