Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This role is perfect for those with a strong background in emergency nursing, looking to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities of the ER Registered Nurse (RN)

• Interpret and manage heart rhythm changes (dysrhythmias)
• Care for critically ill patients with multi-organ issues
• Administer blood products and manage central lines
• Start and maintain IVs, and administer IV sedation and vasopressors
• Care for stroke (CVA) and ventilated patients
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Follow isolation precautions and perform triage

Requirements of the ER Registered Nurse (RN)

• Active state nursing license required (NY or compact). If no NY license, must have already applied and provide application date
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience, with at least 2 years of recent ER experience
• No disciplinary issues on nursing license
