Key qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Texas licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Ability to effectively manage and support a caseload of approximately 60 students
• Flexibility and agility to travel between multiple school locations as needed
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Role responsibilities:

• Deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to students with various communication disorders
• Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs within the school setting
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Contribute to multidisciplinary evaluation teams and participate in meetings as required
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Provide consultation and training to classroom staff as needed
