Clinic Business Operations Representative 2

Facilitate prompt resolution of problems related to pre and post care arising in daily clinical operations Perform general administrative and receptionist functions Answer incoming calls and efficiently manage patients Acquire necessary patient care information and records Assist patients in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner Ensure adherence to divisional and departmental service standards Manage expectations surrounding pre and post patient care Obtain or review patient demographic information, insurance information, and referral numbers Review clinical records for completeness, including authorizations, signatures, missing data, and other patient information Triage incoming calls, respond to questions, direct calls, and document messages in appropriate software Greet visitors and callers, handle inquiries, and direct them to appropriate employees Work cooperatively with fellow employees to solve problems and improve practice workflow Provide coverage for coworkers as assigned or needed Develop and promote effective communication methods with physicians, managers, peers, trainees, and staff Maintain confidentiality of all information Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 year of relevant experience Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information Adherence to University and unit-level policies and procedures Safeguarding University assets Core Competencies Demonstrates strong administrative and communication skills while ensuring adherence to confidentiality and service standards in clinical operations.
