Computer Repair TechnicianLocation: 421 New Sanford Rd, La Vergne, TN 37086Employment Type: Full-time, Pay: Base Pay ranges from $19/hr-$19.50/hr with incentives totaling up to $240 a monthSupporting: Computer RepairHere's What the Job Really Looks LikeRegular work performed in a climate-controlled, warehouse environmentOngoing usage of computer systemsHow You'll Make an ImpactAs part of team Alorica, you'll support our warehouse operations and will be trained on multiple parts of the warehouse floor, ranging from scanning in shipments, picking/packing, assessing returns/damaged products, and diagnostic checks.What'll Set You Up for SuccessA+ Certification or equivalent OR related degree6 months of experience repairing laptops or desktop computersAble to pass basic terminology and troubleshooting/diagnostic computer repair activityAble to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues as well as identify potential quality related problems quicklyAble to replace and repair desktop and laptop partsAble to recognize cosmetic defects or flaws and be able to tear down/replace cosmetic repairs.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and SoftwareAble to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and achieve set production output goalsHigh School Diploma or GEDAble to perform assigned duties with minimal supervisionBasic Math skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailIndependent worker with excellent organization skillsReliable and dependableRegular and on-time attendance is requiredPhysical DemandsMust be able to lift 30-50 pounds, without assistance repetitivelyAbility to make repetitive movements including but not limited to bending or squattingMust be able to stand and walk for long periods of time unassistedFor Internal Candidates:Must not be on any corrective action or performance plansMust have held your current position for 6 + monthsMust have relevant industry/program experienceLocation Note: We are only considering candidates and hiring for this position in the La Vergne, Tennessee area.Why Alorica?Our culture shows up in how we work together, support each other, and show up for our clients.
