This is a chance to be the electrical backbone of entire missions, from payload integration through power allocation to CD&H.About this role:As a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer, you'll take ownership of mission-level electrical systems work across one or more active programs. You'll:Own electrical systems scope for assigned missions - integrating payloads, designing wiring harnesses, and ensuring power is properly allocated and distributed across the vehicle.Read and interpret ICDs (interface control documents) to guide harness design and system integration decisions.Support CD&H (command and data handling) architecture and requirements for your assigned missions.Interpret EMI / EMC test plans and help ensure systems meet electrical compatibility requirements.Develop system component requirements and interconnect diagrams that tie hardware together at the mission level.Partner closely with board design engineers and program teams, flexing into detailed board design work when your skill set and bandwidth allow.Act as a key electrical point of contact for a mission - similar to the role our electrical systems engineers play across current programs, coordinating closely with hardware, mechanical, and systems teams.This role is ideal for someone who wants breadth - comfortable owning system-level electrical scope end-to-end, with the flexibility to jump into board design work as needed.Must Haves:Strong experience in electrical systems engineering - including harness design, electrical schematics, and power allocation/distribution.Ability to interpret ICDs and translate them into harness and interconnect designs.Experience developing system component requirements and interconnect diagrams.Ability to interpret EMI / EMC test plans.Senior-level experience, with comfort acting as the primary electrical owner for a mission or program.Comfortable flexing into some board design work as needed.Nice to Haves:Software/scripting capability — comfortable running scripts or debugging code, and managing outside suppliers delivering hardware with embedded software.Familiarity with CD&H (command and data handling) systemsPrior experience supporting multiple missions or programs simultaneously.Some of Our Awesome Benefits:100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance option for employees and dependentsFlexible Spending (FSA) and Health Savings (HSA) Accounts offered with an employer contribution to the HSA100% employer paid Life, AD&D, Short-Term, and Long-Term Disability insuranceFlexible Time Off policy for vacation and sick leave, and 12 paid holidays401(k) plan and equity optionsDaily catered lunches and snacks in officeInternational exposure to our team in FranceFully paid parental leave; 14 weeks for birthing parent and 10 weeks for non-birthing parentCarrot Fertility provides comprehensive, inclusive fertility healthcare and family-forming benefits with financial supportOff-sites and many social events and celebrationsRelocation assistance when applicable$150,000 - $200,000 a year State law requires us to tell you the base compensation range for this role, which is $150,000 - $200,000 per year.
