Medication Technician (Med Tech)

Schedule: Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday

10:00 PM:00 AM each night | 32 hours per week
Pay: $18.50:00 per hour

Please review the schedule before applying. This position requires all four overnight shifts every week, including both weekend nights.

Maris Pointe is seeking a compassionate, dependable Medication Technician to care for residents during the overnight shift. You ll assist with medications, provide resident care, document services, and communicate changes in condition to the appropriate team members.

What You Will Do

Assist residents with medications according to physician orders, Florida requirements, and community policies.
Provide care based on each resident s individualized care plan.
Observe and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions.
Document medication assistance, care, observations, incidents, and communications before the end of each shift.
Share important resident information with the incoming shift.
Assist with assessments and care plans as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

High school diploma or GED.
Medication assistance training or certification that meets Florida requirements.
Ability to reliably work every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM .
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care.
One year of related experience preferred; senior living experience is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and meet the position s physical requirements.
