ELECTRO MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECH 3rd SHIFT

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician (EMT) with a strong background in food manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing both electrical and mechanical systems in a food production environment. This role is critical in ensuring plant equipment runs efficiently, safely, and in compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. Salary: $64,480 - $79,000 per year Shift: Third (9 PM – 5:30 AM) Education: High School (required) Responsibilities Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Install and maintain motors, sensors, drives, conveyors, gearboxes, and automated equipment. Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, PLC interfaces, and motor testers. Follow GMP, HACCP, and other food safety protocols during all maintenance work. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities using CMMS (e.g., UpKeep, SAP, or other platforms). Assist in equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects. Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly and support production needs. Support cross‑functional teams in maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and plant performance. Participate in safety meetings, training, and audits. Experience level: Experienced. Strong background in food manufacturing. High school diploma or equivalent (required).
