Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum of 24 months PCU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months License: Active license to practice verified in the last 30 days Certifications: Active ACLS certification, Active BLS certification Must-Have: - Life support certifications must be from an approved vendor - No hits on state license to practice - Driver's license to verify residency - Travel experience is highly preferred Description: Level I Trauma and large hospital experience is required. The Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team that provides support wherever necessary. PCU travelers may be floated to various adult health units including observation, medical surgical, and intermediate care. Occasionally, they may be floated to take adult health patients with inpatient orders waiting on a bed. Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or no more than one week later. Requests for time off must be submitted on the cover page and cannot exceed 7 days. There is no time off allowed during the first week of assignment. All candidates submitted should be ready to accept. Please ensure candidates outline all criteria they are willing to accept. The more flexible they are with locations, shifts, and departments, the faster an offer can be secured. Strict adherence to all background check standards is required.
