Entry Level Sewer

Openwork is currently seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals for an Entry-Level Sewer position in Simpsonville, SC. In this hands-on role, you’ll assist in sewing materials used in the production and distribution of industrial straps. If you enjoy working with your hands and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

In a sewer role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Operating a sewing machine to assemble industrial strap materials
• Measuring materials accurately using a tape measure
• Performing hands-on production tasks with precision
• Maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced setting

What you’ll need:

• Basic math skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Great contract to hire opportunity on 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm Monday through Friday paying $16.00 per hour to start. You may need to train on 1st shift for 2-3 weeks.
