Lateral Mid-Level Tax Associate

Holland & Knight has an immediate opportunity for a tax associate. The position is open in Nashville, TN; Washington, DC; Houston, TX; and Dallas, TX. The associate should have 2‑5 years of strong tax experience, particularly with renewable energy tax credits or corporate transactions and mergers and acquisitions involving private equity. Strong writing skills, attention to detail, and a hardworking attitude are required. Candidates must also have a strong academic background and excellent drafting skills. This role is a contributing one, with substantive training and hands‑on experience as part of a successful team. The candidate must reside in one of the four locations at or before the time of hire and must be licensed or ready to become licensed to practice law in the state where they will work. This role is expected to be on site full‑time, with a minimum of three business days per week in the office. Qualifications 2‑5 years of tax experience with renewable energy credits or corporate M&A involving private equity. Strong writing skills and attention to detail. Excellent drafting skills and academic background. Active member of the bar in the state of residence or ability to waive that requirement. 2+ years of transferable experience.
