Police Officer
The City of Pevely, Missouri, is accepting applications for a full-time Police Officer. Applicants' duties will include, but are not limited to, the ability to enforce state, federal, and local laws, perform routine patrol, respond to emergency calls, and investigations. Must have strong communication skills, excellent work history, and an attendance record. Shifts will include but are not limited to flexible shift work, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call status.
Requirements include completion of Missouri P.O.S.T. Class A Certified Law Enforcement Academy, eligible for employment Police Officer certification from the state of Missouri, a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record, no criminal record, and must be 21 years of age.
Candidates will be subject to pre-employment drug testing, a physical exam, and a background check.
