It entails caring for patients with various telemetry and cardiac-related conditions. Ratios on the unit are approximately 1 nurse to 5-6 patients during the day shifts. This unit operates similarly to a telemetry unit rather than typical progressive care. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting. Nurses may be required to work every other weekend. There are no on-call requirements. Staff may float within the scope of the facility as needed. Pending licenses are accepted. All travelers must adhere to the floating and staffing requirements. Compliance with all mandatory health protocols, including flu vaccination, is required. A maximum of 7 days of request time off is allowed. Candidates must be prepared for a daily census and patient care in a progressive care environment. The facility is equipped with a total of 46 patient beds and provides care for adult patients. Nurses will be involved in interdisciplinary support and delivering care to a diverse array of telemetry diagnoses. Candidates should be knowledgeable about telemetry equipment and related procedures. Completion of all necessary training and compliance requirements before starting the role is expected.
